Prie Saltinio Farmstead

Prie Saltinio is a unique farmstead. It was established in 1924, in the breathtaking landscape of Zelsva River preservation.

The story goes that the owner's grandfather discovered a natural spring and established a public sauna in 1940, which, for years, remained the only one in the region. The spring not only gave a name to the farmstead, but also became a joy for generations of local villagers, for spring water is not only clean but also delicious to drink.

Today's owners continue to spread the same joy through organising local events and offering quality village tourism services and a wide variety of custom-made tours and activities in Samogitia's region.

Prie Saltinio offers all kinds of activities for healthy living and for making a holiday here interesting. Canoeing in Minija, Zvelsa, Jura, Akmena and other rivers in Samogitia is one such activity. The owners will gladly put together routes and even accompany guests, if they desire so.  

Almost all the year round, trips by canoes are organised by the owners, offering guests vast possibilities to explore the beautiful surroundings of the Minija River - the largest river in Samogitia.

The farmstead has a sauna, a pool of running spring water, outdoor wooden tub, and indoor hearth. There are bedrooms that can accommodate up to a total of 16 persons.  

There is no fixed policy pertaining to late check out. It is flexible and depends on availability.

There is no fee for cancellation made up to 48 hours prior to arrival. For cancellation made after that, one night's rate will be charged as the cancellation fee.
